Percentile collects absolutely no personal data. Your baby's growth data lives only on your device. The developer cannot see, access, or share it — because it never reaches our servers. There are no servers.
Percentile – Baby Growth Chart ("the App") is developed by Nelson Uprety ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
The answer to "what data do we collect?" is: none. The App is architecturally incapable of collecting personal data because it has no backend, no database, and no server of any kind. This is a deliberate design choice, not a compliance shortcut.
We collect no personal information whatsoever. Specifically, we do not collect:
The App contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no crash reporting SDK that transmits data externally. This is verifiable by auditing the app binary.
The App stores the following data locally on your device only, using on-device SQLite storage:
This data never leaves your device unless you are a Pro subscriber who explicitly enables iCloud backup. When iCloud backup is enabled, data is written to your private iCloud container — a storage space controlled entirely by you and Apple. We cannot read it, access it, or copy it. Not even in aggregate.
Pro subscribers may optionally back up their data to iCloud. This backup uses Apple's CloudKit private container, which means:
iCloud backup is strictly opt-in and requires Pro. Free tier users' data never leaves their device under any circumstances.
The App offers an optional one-time Pro upgrade ($4.99 USD) processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat solely to verify your purchase entitlement. RevenueCat operates in anonymous mode — it receives no name, email, or personally identifiable information from us or from you.
Your payment information is handled exclusively by Apple and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We never see your payment details.
The App integrates with exactly two third-party services:
No other third-party service, SDK, or API is integrated. No advertising network. No analytics platform. No social SDK.
Percentile calculations are performed entirely on-device using the WHO Child Growth Standards (2006), embedded as static data within the App. No measurement data is sent to WHO or any external service to perform calculations. The WHO data is used as a reference only and does not involve any data transmission.

If you set a pediatrician appointment reminder, the App schedules a local push notification on your device using iOS's on-device notification system. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely locally — no notification passes through our servers, and no data about your appointments is transmitted anywhere.
You may revoke notification permission at any time in iOS Settings → Percentile → Notifications. The App will never re-request permission after you deny it.
Consistent with this policy, the App's App Store Privacy Nutrition Label declares "Data Not Collected" with one exception: Purchases → Data Not Linked to You, which reflects anonymous purchase receipts handled by Apple and RevenueCat. No data is linked to your identity.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it:

Percentile is designed for use by parents tracking infant growth. The App is rated 4+ on the App Store. We do not collect personal data from any user, including children or minors. Because no data is collected, the App is fully compliant with COPPA, GDPR-K, and equivalent children's privacy regulations by design.
